Are you attending or have you attended a post-secondary education inside or outside of Canada?

Tuition, education and textbooks are a source of valuable credits for individuals who are attending university and/or college. Typically, individuals pursuing post secondary studies don’t earn sufficient income to claim these credits immediately and accordingly apply them in the future once they begin to earn a reasonable taxable income level.

A portion of your tuition credit can also be transferred to a parent or a grandparent if the credit is otherwise being underutilized. However tuition credits, unlike many other credits, can be carried over indefinitely, so if they are not used right away, they will not expire.
