GRANT'S BIO

A graduate of Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce 2003, I commenced my career working as a bookkeeper for several businesses and charities until 2005, where I started working from Cobourg in an accounting firm.

During my time there, I registered with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario, and began taking the requisite courses towards a CGA designation, while simultaneously earning accreditation as a Mutual Fund, Labour Sponsored Investment and Life Insurance Specialist. I then augmented my employment portfolio with work as a financial advisor.

In 2007 I started my personal accounting practice from a Toronto office, where I began growing my client base. In 2009 I wrote my final exams and earned a CGA designation.

In 2010, I earned Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation; a designation I utilize with the financial planning side of Canfin Magellan Investments Inc.. Through Canfin I provide personal and corporate financial planning services to my clients utilizing various investment tools including RRSPs, RESPs, Non-Registered Investments, TFSAs, Segregated Funds, etc.

I provide accounting, financial and consultation services that cater to varying clientele needs, with fees that are competitive for the quality and care provided.

Raz Khchfajian is a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant at Grant Matossian CPA office. specializing in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations.

With a strong background in accounting principles, Raz is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. And tax filings for both individuals and businesses. With expertise in personal and business tax, Raz ensures clients’ financial matters are handled efficiently and in line with current tax regulations.

Currently on the path to obtaining the CPA designation, Raz is focused on professional development and continuously enhancing expertise in financial management.In addition to accounting responsibilities, Raz is a licensed mutual fund advisor with Canfin Magellan Investments Inc., providing clients with personal and corporate financial advisor services.
